The Cabins Conwy
We have three cosy cabins on site, two are named after two of the mountain tops that stand guard over the cabins: Tal y Fan, Pen y Gaer and Cabin Afon, with ensuite shower, named after the River (Afon in Welsh) Henrhyd which runs in front of it.
The Cabins
The cabins face south-
A warm and cosy double bed with traditional local woollen blankets provides an ideal resting place and allows you to wake up to views through our little woodland towards the mountains beyond.
Each cabin also has its own galley kitchen with:
Electric two ring hob
Refrigerator
Electric kettle
Toaster and sink
An electric, flame effect stove
A small library of books
USB charging & normal electric sockets
A folding table beneath the main window allows you to dine with a view even when its chilly outside!
Toilets & Shower: A toilet or Ty Bach (Little house!) sits next to each hut in its own little cabin. The compost from these toilets is collected and left to break down for a year and then used on our saplings as fertiliser; so please give generously!
Cabins Tal y Fan & Pen Y Gaer share one electric shower that is housed in a separate cabin located on the car park. Cabin Afon has its own en suite shower.
Outside: Each cabin has its own garden area with seating and a fire pit/BBQ for al fresco dining or just sitting and relaxing.
Our woodland and wild pasture walks meander their way around the cabins and along the River Henryd where you can find secret places for quiet moments.
Guest are free to explore and enjoy all of the 3 acres of our wildlife haven, but please do be aware that off the defined paths the ground is tussocky and uneven and care should be taken in these areas.
